Gone with the wind
The weekend's European Tour action was a rain-affected affair in Madeira. You'll often read articles about how to control your ball flight in the wind and if you can add a new shot or two to your armoury then you'll be a better player for it.
A quick tip for you: to produce a slightly lower flight so your ball doesn't lose its penetration, move the ball back in your stance and focus on making a normal swing. It sounds simple but it's worth practicing this on the range and noting the change in trajectory which results from your hands being slightly ahead of the ball through impact.
Master this and the next time the wind gets up midway through the monthly medal and you won't have the fear. You may even relish it!

FootJoy HyperFlex
The 2 top brands in golf have launched their new shoes for 2015. A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the new adidas Boost. This week I will look at the FootJoy HyperFlex which is as FootJoy say the "Next Big Thing"' with the ultimate in athletic performance golf shoe. In short these shoes feature new technologies to increase comfort, cushioning, support and grip. You don't have to take my words for it, pop into the shop when your up this weekend and try these or any of our new ranges of FootJoy or adidas shoes on for size (and comfort).
